Formula for the initial launch is finalized, limited number of tubes are produced for external testing.

October 2026

Testing paint is sent to artists for experimentation and feedback. Regolith Pigments begins focusing on public education through YouTube videos and an active social media presence.

December 2026

Feedback from external testing is implemented, and reviews and a gallery are added to the website. Paint labels, shipping logistics, and brand imagery are finalized. Inventory building begins for the first product launch: Lunar Mare Simulant Paint.

January 2027

Launch of Lunar Mare Simulant Oil Paint and Watercolor.

Spring 2027

Shipping processes are streamlined in preparation for increased orders. Larger quantities are secured in the supply chain (e.g., oil, tubes, packaging, raw minerals, and volcanic glasses).

Summer 2027

Official Launch of Lunar White Paint. Testing of the Martian regolith simulant begins.

Fall 2027

Launch of Martian Jezero Delta Simulant Oil Paint and Watercolor.

January 2028

Launch of an aditional high-fidelity simulant paint or genuine meteorite paint.

Summer 2028

Research begins on developing the first commercially viable artist-grade paint approved for ISRU (In-Situ Resource Utilization) in space, meeting lunar and Martian off-gassing requirements. Current leading candidate is a two-part potassium silicate derivative.
